Below are instructions for setting up your account on the prototype version of Tx Tracker. This prototype isn't perfect, but we want your feedback on how to continue improving before we release the next version.

Step 1.

Open the Tx Tracker app and click the "Getting Started" button to begin the on-boarding process.

Step 2.

Read and accept our privacy policy, acceptable use policy, and terms of service in order to continue onboarding.

Step 3.

Answer a few brief demographic questions - or skip ahead.

Step 4.

The diagnosis screen lets you enter in optional information about your cancer diagnosis (skip this if don't if you can't remember or don't want to enter these details). Right now, the app set up for Breast Cancer and Multiple Myeloma, but will be available for all cancer types soon.

If your cancer type is not available, you can skip ahead and continue using the app.

Step 5.

Next, you may enter in your treatment regimen(s) and timing, which allows the app to tailor your experience and provide more robust data if you choose to share your data for research in the future.

You can skip this if you can't remember or don't want to enter this data right now - you can always add/edit this data in the future. If you are not in active treatment, you can enter prior treatments you've received in the past.

Step 6.

We are currently using the National Cancer Institute's Patient-Reported Outcomes version of the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (PRO-CTCAE) to inform the list of symptoms and severity/frequency/interference questions asked. If you start experiencing other symptoms, you will be able to add them from our database.

Step 7.

Enter a username and password to create an account. Your password must be a minimum of 8 characters. Select a security question and answer in the event you forget your password.

Step 8.

If you'd like the app to remind you to enter how you're feeling each day, select "Turn on notifications" to allow Tx Tracker to send you a reminder and to set a time for the notification.

Step 9.

Begin tracking how you're feeling! If you entered diagnosis and treatment information, the next screen will show a list of symptoms that may be useful to track. You can delete symptoms from this list or search symptoms to add more to the list. This will be the symptoms that the app will ask you about each time you sign in (which can always be edited).
